Indonesian Teachers to Meet, Confer with Greenfield Educators

The visit will take place next week.

is going international.

Nearly two dozen educators from Indonesia will visit the school Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 7:30-10:30 a.m. While there, the Indonesian educators will watch GHS teachers in action, discuss curriculum and instructional techniques and tour one of the more technologically advanced high schools in the state.

The visit is sponsored by Friendship Force International and is designed to overcome cultural barriers and promote global understanding by building friendships around the world. This will also be an occasion for GHS students and teachers to learn from Indonesian educators. There will be opportunities to talk about each group’s educational practices, styles, philosophies and other issues.
