Intoxicated Driver Hits, Kills 45-Year-Old Man Crossing the Street
A 45-year-old man is dead after he was struck by an intoxicated driver over night.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A 45-year-old man is dead after he was struck by an intoxicated driver over night.
According to police, the man was walking across the street near the 3600 block of W. Wisconsin Ave. The incident was a block away from Veterans Manor and Marquette University High School.
According to a WISN 12 report, police stated that the man had been stealing plastic recycling bins from behind a nearby Walgreens store.

He loaded up on bins, and began carrying them across the street when he was struck.
WISN is also reporting that the motorist who struck the man was a 26-year-old woman. Police said she was driving with a suspended license, was speeding, and was under the influence of alcohol.

According to a Journal Sentinel report, the woman was driving a 2012 Chevy Equinox. She stopped at the scene of the accident.
