Just Kidding! Parking Tickets at State Fair Last Friday Deemed 'Big Mistake'

Finding parking at the Wisconsin State Fair is hard enough - especially when the city is changing the rules on you.

MILWAUKEE -- Scores of cars were issued $60 parking tickets near the State Fair grounds last Friday, Aug. 5, after the City of Milwaukee changed parking rules on motorists on accident.

According to a report by FOX 6, at 75th and Main Streets parking is free for a few hours. On Friday night, August 5th, with the west side of the street filled with cars, new tow-away rules suddenly appeared.

As it turned out, Milwaukee Alderman Michael Murphy's office had asked the City of Milwaukee's Department of Public Works to put up the signs after a neighbor complained about traffic, FOX 6 reported.
