Kindred-Milwaukee Memory Care Unit Welcomes New Puppy

We wanted to bring smiles to the faces of our residents on our Memory Care Unit and what better way than to have a dog come to visit.  Our new dog has brought a lot of joy and happiness to our residents.  The residents have grown to love him and take good care of him.  The residents enjoy playing catch and throwing a Frisebee to him.  They take him on walks and give him plenty of treats!  Here is a little bit about our new furry friend!

Hi, my name is Gunny! I am a new volunteer at Kindred on Willow Court. I try to volunteer most days but I am still a puppy and need my beauty rest. I used to live at the Waukesha Animal Rescue, but I was adopted by my new mom, she also works here. We get to car pool everyday! I am about 5 months old, I am not sure my birthday so my new mom and I picked Valentines day,  to be my day! We picked that day because I bring so much love to my new mom and everyone I meet. My Veterinarian tells me I am a Golden Retriever mix but my dad says I am just Golden because I don’t retrieve yet. I guess I will be working on that in my spare time. I am full of energy, love to give kisses and meet new people so I hope I get to meet to you soon!
