Konkel Park Ice Rink In Greenfield Opens For 2022-2023 Season
The Dan Jansen Family Fest Ice Rink at Greenfield's Konkel Park opened for the 2022-23 season on Tuesday, the city announced Tuesday.

GREENFIELD, WI — The Dan Jansen Family Fest Ice Rink is now open for the 2022-2023 season at Greenfield's Konkel Park, the city announced Tuesday.
Skating at the rink is free. The ice rink relies on consistent cold temperatures to remain open, so the weather may impact availability. The city said guests should check for closures before they head out through a Facebook group or by calling the cancelation line at 414-297-9008.

A Festival Foods warming area is open with concessions during the rink's hours. The rink is open Monday-Thursday 4-8 p.m., Friday from 4-9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 12-9 p.m, according to the city's website.
People can also get free skate rentals with sizes ranging from toddler to adult and free skate trainers, though supplies may be limited and are first-come-first-served, the city said. If you have your own skates, the city said you should bring those.
