Lake Park 2017 Wonderful Wednesdays Musical Lineup, Schedule

MILWAUKEE, WI — Wonderful Wednesdays is a series of seven concerts geared for children and their families. These presentations will be held on Wednesdays beginning June 21 and ending July 26. Gillian Gosman is the volunteer organizer of the Wednesday concerts. For current updates, check out the WW concert Facebook page: LPF Wonderful Wednesdays.

Concerts will go on, rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move indoors to the Marcia Coles Community Room, which is in the lower level of the Lake Park Pavilion, beneath the Lake Park Bistro Restaurant (3133 E. Newberry Blvd.).

Concerts for Kids & Families Presented by Lake Park Friends

• June 21 Jim Gill: Join award-winning songwriter and author Jim Gill for a sing-along, clap-along party! Jim will bang out the energetic rhythms on his banjo while kids and parents can clap, jump, dance, and stomp along.
• June 28 Danika and Jeb: Danika and Jeb are an acoustic soul duo from Nashville, Tennessee, on a national tour this summer that brings them to Milwaukee for just one show!
• July 5 Paul Kaye: Chicago bluesman Paul Kaye brings the musical heritage of America to modern audiences.
• July 12 Twang Dragons: Twang Dragons is a little bit country and a little bit rock. The quartet brings their rockabilly snap to the summer stage for the first time!
• July 19 Cash Box Kings: This Chicago blues band is a perennial Wonderful Wednesdays favorite!
• July 26 Fox & Branch: Iconic Milwaukee children’s folk duo Fox and Branch are well-known to Wonderful Wednesdays crowds and to families across town. Join them for classic washboard melodies and traditional sing-alongs!
