Meet Greenfield's New K9 Officer (And Learn His Name)
The winner of Greenfield Police department's "name the K9 contest" has been announced. See who won, and who's joining the force in November!
GREENFIELD -- Come November, there will be a new member of the Greenfield Police department of the four-legged variety on duty in your community.
Police dog Ocho is currently in North Carolina training with Patrol Officer Jonah Kowalkowski before heading north to Wisconsin later this year.
The Greenfield police department is teaming up with Pet Supplies Plus-Greenfield to prepare Ocho for his big move to Greenfield.

Pet Supplies Plus, 4505 S 76th St. is now accepting donations to supply Ocho with everything he needs to get started. Police are encouraging citizens to visit their store today and check out their display.
The Greenfield Police Department hosted a contest to name the new K9 officer. The person who came up with the best name receives a prize package including Greenfield Police Department Canine Gear, Challenge Coin, Customized Plush Canine, and a meet and greet with the new K-9 unit.
