Milwaukee 2018 Tax Day March To Prime 'Blue Wave'
The march will rally at the Milwaukee County Courthouse, listen to speakers and hear strategies for making the predicted "blue wave."

MILWAUKEE, WI — "Tax Day in 2018 falls on Tuesday, April 17, and is known as the deadline day for people to file their taxes. On this day, activists in Milwaukee will host an event to call on Congress to repeal the Trump Tax -- a tax reform bill supported by Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Janesville) that event organizers say has been"disastrous for Wisconsin’s working families."
Over the course of the weekend, more than 100 events will be taking place across the country in conclusion of a nationwide tour.
Milwaukee’s event is free and open to the public. It is being co-hosted by the Wisconsin Women’s March, Black Leaders Organizing for Communities, and Citizen Action of Wisconsin.

The march will rally at the Milwaukee County Courthouse, listen to speakers and hear strategies for making the predicted "blue wave" in November, organizers say.
"We will continue to demand progressive taxation, a return to an estate tax that ensures the richest 0.1% aren't passing along dynastic unearned wealth creating a gilded oligarchy, and a tax code that favors Main Street over Wall Street," organizers said in a prepared statement.
