Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center Pet of the Week: ToeFu

Why does such a cute, fuzzy kitty have such a silly name, you ask? Because he's a polydactyl, that's why! (Get it? TOE - fu.) Last week I introduced you to an adoptable polydactyl female, Rhoda. This week, it's all about ToeFu.

ToeFu has twenty-four toes. Twenty-four! We think that's pretty incredible. (Typically, cats have just eighteen toes.) And since we here at Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center have a special place in our hearts for kitties with extra toes, it's no surprise we're all head over heels in love with this boy.

At just six months old, this boy is FULL of playful energy! He's a total goofball and keeps us and the volunteer socializers laughing (and sometimes shaking our heads) at his antics. He uses his big mitts to paddle in the water bowl, throw his toys around like a maniac, and grab on tight to the waving wand toy. He uses his big purr to win hearts.

Curious, social, and silly, ToeFu will make a really fun pet. His ideal home will be ready for adventure with this always-on-the-go companion!
