Milwaukee Business Journal Announces 2016 Best Places to Work Winners

BREAKING: 44 winners announced. Wauwatosa, Greenfield, Glendale, Racine, Waukesha, Whitefish Bay, Brookfield businesses all represented.

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Business Journal on Thursday has announced the 44 businesses that have been honored on their 2016 Best Places to Work list.

Numerous firms from Milwaukee were represented on the list, including ones from Wauwatosa, Greenfield, Glendale, Racine, Waukesha, Whitefish Bay, Brookfield businesses all represented. The names of the businesses were announced today. On Oct. 21 complete scores will be published by the media outlet.

According to the Business Journal: Nearly 160 Milwaukee-area firms were nominated for the awards and the winners were determined based on scores from a survey that employees filled out. Each company that was nominated was ranked according to the 10 core areas of engagement: teamwork, retention, alignment with goals, trust with co-workers, individual contribution, manager effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, job satisfaction and benefits.
