Milwaukee Woman Takes Baseball Bat to Cheating Boyfriend and His Car
A physical dispute that happened in Greenfield recently ended up proving the hard way that cheaters really never win.

GREENFIELD -- A 35-year-old Milwaukee woman may face jail time after she had enough, once she learned that her significant other had been cheating on her.
Greenfield police responded to an incident on the 3600 block of S. 32nd St. just after noon. Police reported that a female, later identified as Kari Schlais of Milwaukee, had gotten into an argument with her ex-boyfriend.
According to the criminal complaint, the ex-boyfriend had been at work when he noticed Schlais pull up behind his car and exit her vehicle with a DVD player.

The ex-boyfriend said she threw the DVD player at the vehicle, walked back to her car, pulled out a child's bicycle and threw it at his vehicle.
When the ex-boyfriend went outside to ask her to stop what she was doing, she went back to her car and pulled out an orange baseball bat and started swinging it at the rear window of his car, causing it to smash.

She was not done.
According to the criminal complaint, Schlais then struck the rear of his vehicle, between the tail lights, and then swung it at the ex-boyfriend, striking his knee. She drove off in her own vehicle, but police ended up catching up to her.
Police made contact with Schlais following the incident where she was taken into custody without further complications.
Schlais faces up to 12 months in jail if she is convicted. She is out on a $200 cash bond.
