WISCONSIN -- The national weather service has issued a winter weather advisory for snow, sleet and freezing rain 5 am to noon cst Monday.
* Timing: Starting Monday morning and ending by midday. The mixed precipitation will become all rain Monday afternoon.
* Ice and snow accumulations: Total ice accumulations of a light glaze up to a few hundreths of an inch. Snow and sleet accumulations less than one half inch.

According to the National Weather Service, a wintery mix including freezing rain and sleet is expected to affect southern Wisconsin Monday and Monday night, as low pressure moves from the southern plains across southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Snow and sleet accumulations will remain mostly less than an inch.
The mix of precipitation will transition to freezing rain, and is expected to cause glazing and hazardous travel conditions starting Monday morning. Areas of light freezing rain will likely persist over parts of southern Wisconsin through Monday night.
