More Details on Monday's School Board Protests
According to multiple sources, many of the protestors were Wisconsin Education Association Council members.

A handful of media outlets, in addition to Greenfield Patch, were at Monday's Greenfield School Board meeting, .
The stemmed from what teachers feel is a lack of communication as the board discussed and voted on the employee handbook and benefit contributions.
"I think there's a lot of frustration on the eve of our first day of school," Doug Perry, a fifth grade teacher at and the Greenfield Education Association president told a TMJ4 reporter. "The first day for teachers is tomorrow (Tuesday). Even though Act 10 was passed around June 20, and that's two months, we have no idea what our rights and privileges and benefits will be."

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, like TMJ4, said many of the protesters were members of the Wisconsin Education Association Council, and some in the audience held signs saying they were Milwaukee Public School employees.
