Report: Senate Democrats to be Held in Contempt
A resolution was passed that orders the missing senators to return by 4 p.m. Thursday.
The 14 Democratic Senators, including Greenfield representative Tim Carpenter, who have been avoiding Madison for two weeks, were ordered to return to the Senate chamber by 4 p.m. today or be held in contempt, according to various news outlets.
have been in Illinois since Feb. 17. They fled Wisconsin to keep Gov. Scott Walker's controversial budget-repair bill from passing.
