Road Closures Start Tuesday For Harley Davidson's Hometown Rally
These parts of Layton Avenue in Greenfield will be closed for one week starting Tuesday.

GREENFIELD, WI — With the return of the Harley Davidson Hometown Rally comes some road closures Greenfield residents may need to know this week. Parts of Layton Avenue will be closed for a full week, the Greenfield Police Department warns.
Layton Avenue between 6oth Street and 64th Street will be fully closed for a week. The part of Layton between 64th Street and 68th Street will only be open to local traffic for a week, the Police Department said in a Facebook post.
The road closures start Tuesday and will last for a full week until September 7. The Hometown Rally starts Thursday.

"What this means for you; good food, good entertainment, cool looking bikes, and of course a good time. Ooh and we are closing the road to ensure maximum safety and fun times to be had," the department said in the post.

The Harley Davidson Hometown Rally starts Thursday and plans to bring music, stunt riders and more to the Harley Davidson museum downtown, according to the event's website. A number of dealerships in the surrounding area, including the House of Harley on Layton Avenue, will host events of their own.
