Rude Customers + Catalytic Converter Stolen: Greenfield PD

Here's a look back at noteworthy police logs reported by the Greenfield Police Department for March 21-Saturday.

GREENFIELD, WI — The manager of a restaraunt on the 5000 block of 27th Street told police on March 21 a customer had taken a trophy off a wall of the business and threw it outside, according to Greenfield Police Department logs.

The manager told police the customer was part of a group who was being "very rude" with staff. Two women caused "a scene" by yelling at an employee and manager of the business, the manager told police according to logs.

  • A resident from the 5200 block of Edgerton Avenue told police someone had gone through their vehicle last night and his possessions were found listed for sale. Logs show that multiple people were taken into custody in connection with the report. Charges for people who were taken into custody after the report included theft over $2500, possession of fentanyl, possession of crack cocaine and other charges, logs say.
  • Someone called 911 on March 22 and told police the passenger of a silver car pulled out a handgun and pointed at him around 6 p.m. near Morgan Avenue and 35th Street, logs say.
  • Someone was spotted attempting to steal a catalytic converter from a car parked at the Greenbrook Apartments complex near 51st Street and Edgerton around 4 p.m. on March 24, logs say.
  • A vehicle was reported broken into near 4100 South 108th Street around 5 p.m. on March 23, logs say.
  • A business on the 5000 block of Loomis Road told police tools were stolen out of a vehicle parked in their lot on March 22.
  • Someone told police their catalytic converter was stolen from their vehicle around 6:30-8:30 p.m. on March 25 on the 4700 block of 76th Street when they were at a restaraunt.
