Speedway on Cold Spring and 60th to Re-Open in July
Gas station was razed last month to make room for a new facility.
The Speedway rebuild project at 60th and Cold Spring should be completed by July 1, according to Speedway construction specialist Bill Cowan.
The was razed in mid-April after the Greenfield Plan Commission and Common Council approved the project earlier this year.Β
The new building will be a 3,900-square-foot building which is three times larger than the old building. The store will carry an expansive food service area, similar to other area Speedway stores, .

According to Cowan, the building will have upfront parking and the site will contain extensive landscaping. The building will have roofline dormers and the canopy will have brick columns and a mansard fascia panels.
The canopy/dispenser layout will have five dispensers in a toll-booth style to allow for more movement of traffic on the facility, said Cowan, who added the site will also get new LED ground mount price signs, similar to the .
