SUV Goes Airborne During Pursuit, Slams Into Car Lot: Complaint
The car swerved away and went airborne into powerlines and other cars when police tried to use stop sticks, a criminal complaint said.

GREENFIELD, WI — During a police pursuit early Sunday morning the driver of an SUV lost control, sending their car airborne and into powerlines and numerous parked cars at the Rosen Nissan parking lot on 5500 27th Street in Greenfield, according to Greenfield police in a criminal complaint.
An officer had laid out stop sticks on 27th Street, near the dealership, ahead of the SUV speeding down the street, according to the complaint. Police said they were pursuing the SUV after they saw it and a sedan traveling about 80 mph down 27th near Coldspring Road around 2 a.m that day, the complaint said.
Right before the crash, the SUV, which looked to be going around 100 mph at that point, swerved and narrowly missed the officer who was deploying the stop sticks, police said in the complaint.
