Teens Arrested With Fentanyl After Ramming Squad Car
Two 16-year-olds rammed a squad car with a stolen vehicle. One had been arrested 8 times before for car thefts.

GREENFIELD, WI — Greenfield police arrested two 16-year-old boys accused of carrying fentanyl after they fled police and rammed a police squad.
According to Greenfield police, on Sep. 22, just before 2 a.m., a concerned citizen on the 10000 block of W. Meadow Drive called to report two suspicious people walking around casing houses in the neighborhood. They later left in a small blue vehicle.
Moments later, Hales Corners police were unsuccessful as they tried to stop the suspects' vehicle.

Greenfield police say they later found the vehicle at 60th St. and Forest Home and tried conducting a traffic stop on the vehicle, only to have the driver attempt to flee.
A police supervisor driving ahead of the fleeing vehicle was rammed by the suspects' vehicle. The officer who was rammed later attempted a high-speed contact move to disable the vehicle called a pursuit intervention technique - disabling the vehicle and forcing it to grind to a halt.

The two 16-year-olds tried running from their now-disabled car, only to have officers track them down and take them into custody.
According to police, one 16-year-old was found to be in possession of fentanyl, a powerful opioid-based pain killer that is 50-100 times stronger than heroin. He was also found with a key from an auto dealership and was found to have eight prior arrests for auto theft.
The other 16-year-old who was the driver was arrested and found to be in possession of heroin and cocaine.
