Every Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m., the Mitchell Park Conservatory Horticultural Center, or The Domes, hosts a live musical performance open to the public called Music Under Glass.
For the small cost of $6.50 for adults, this weekly event is a perfect escape from the routine of your week and a great destination for a girl’s nights, date night or as a solo adventure.
Wander through the variety of climates featured in the domes and linger in the tropical arena to warm up in these begrudgingly long winter days. A cash bar is available for a light cocktail and in the rose dome, chairs and seating encircle the pavilion, where a small stage hosts a variety of musical acts every week. The crowd often gathers near the stage as groups and couples begin to dance.

This Thursday, Christopher’s Project will take the stage. This musical group is known for its jazz, urban, rhythm and funk compilations. The band has played events as small as corporate mixers and as large as Summerfest.
