VIDEO: Carjackers Drive Away with Baby Inside
Security camera footage catches the suspects dropping the baby on the side of the road as they steal a Milwaukee woman's car.

MILWAUKEE — On Monday it was reported that carjackers stole the car from a Milwaukee woman, and drove away with the infant inside.
WISN obtained a neighbor's security camera footage that shows the carjackers leaving the baby on the side of the road for the mother.
According to initial reports, the carjackers stole the car in a "bump-and-run" tactic, in which the suspect collides with the victim's car. When the parties exit their vehicles to investigate, the carjackers steal the car.

The woman’s vehicle was struck from behind, and Borkowski says when she exited her vehicle to inspect the damage, two suspects forced their way into her vehicle and stole it — with the baby still inside.
Milwaukee Ald. Mark Borkowski's statement:
“Just imagine the fear, terror and horror that mother felt as she watched those criminals drive away with her precious baby strapped in the car seat behind the driver. Fortunately, when the thugs had a chance, they stopped the car, put the baby on the side of the road and drove away.
