Weekend Drunk Driving Arrests in Milwaukee County April 16-17, 2017
Six drivers from Racine and Milwaukee counties were arrested on Milwaukee's highways Easter weekend on suspicion of OWI.

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — This weekend’s Operation Drive Sober initiative in Milwaukee County, from Friday at 4:00 p.m. through Sunday at 6:00 a.m., resulted in the arrest of six drivers on the suspicion of OWI. The average blood alcohol concentration result was .14 after a preliminary breath test.
Six first-time offenders were arrested: Joey Miller, age 49, of Racine; Jessica Drover, age 22, of Berlin; Dejanaie Thierry, age 26, of Racine; and Milwaukee residents: Praxedes Reyes-Burgos, age 38; Jason Rogers, age 38; and Sarah Sorattanasoun, age 32.
Jason Rogers, arrested for DUI-2nd/1st (first DUI was more than ten years ago, making this per Wisconsin law a second first offense) also faces a Class G felony charge of Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Endangering Safety by Use of a Firearm. A deputy stopped Rogers on Canal Street on Friday, April 14 at 10:35 p.m. for deviating from his traffic lane and speeding. His PBT result was .14.

Rogers had an outstanding warrant for Paternity. An inventory search of his vehicle turned up a handgun in the center console. As a convicted felon, Rogers cannot possess a firearm. He faces up to 10 years, 9 months in prison if convicted of all charges.
