Whitnall Golfer Playing in Today's State Tournament
Tyler Zientara had an early tee time on the first day of the tournament.
Participants in the WIAA Division 1 State Golf Tournament began teeing off at University Ridge in Madison at 7 a.m. this morning, all with hopes of being crowned this year’s state champion when the meet concludes tomorrow afternoon.
Among this year’s field is Whitnall senior Tyler Zientara, who was slated to hit the links at 7:18 a.m. along with Jacob Feurstein of Madison La Follette, Cody Neu of Waukesha West and Noah Hersch of Nicolet. Those four made up the third group out today.
Zientara is the only local golfer in the field.

Division 1 golfers will tee off at noon Tuesday for the second day of the tournament.
