Whitnall School Board Approves Interim Business Manager

The Whitnall School board approved a contract for interim business manager Douglas Johnson on Monday.

Johnson will fulfill the role as the district begins the process of .

The interim contract includes a 60-day notice clause for Johnson, and a 30-day notice clause for the district, which ensures a smooth transition to a permanent business manager when one is found, Superintendent Lowell Holtz said. 

Johnson’s first priority as interim business manager will be to draft the district’s 2011-12 budget.
