WHS Holiday Concert Turns to Classics During Memorable Performance
Selections from Mozart and Handel were among those performed by the high school's concert choir, advanced choir and orchestra Dec. 19.
The Whitnall High School concert choir, advanced choir and orchestra performed its holiday concert in the high school auditorium Dec. 19.
The concert began with all three ensembles performing a choral version together Mozart's Alleluia from Exsultate Jubilate accompanied by the orchestra. The choir performed the traditional final selection by candle light.
The concert ended with Handel's Hallelujah Chorus accompanied by the orchestra. Whitnall alumni present in the audience were invited to come up on stage and join in the Hallelujah Chorus, with more than 20 taking the stage.
