My name is Sara Nowacki, and I’m the owner of Platinum Travel. I’ve been a travel agent since 2016 after a career as a math instructor at both the secondary and college levels. I've had the privilege to travel over 25 countries and all over the United States. I customize amazing vacations for people who want to see the world, and provide a seamless, personalized, stress-free door-to-door travel experience.

I’m starting this series of posts to talk about topics related to the travel industry, to dispel some misconceptions, and to encourage you to have an outstanding travel experience.

Travel today is more complicated than ever. In the past few years, 24 new cruise ships have come on line, many more new resorts have opened, and airlines have created new fare categories. Keeping up with options is a full-time job. This is where I come in --- I’m a travel expert.

While all resorts and destinations look fantastic online, travel agents have first-hand knowledge about many places you want to travel, and if not, I personally know someone who does. This is the information you will not find in online reviews; my focus is finding the right vacation for you.

It takes a person an average of 40 hours to plan a vacation on their own, from start to finish. This doesn’t include time spent wondering if you chose the right hotel or booked the correct flights.

Travel agents do the work for you, saving you valuable time along with the headache of scouring the internet for travel deals. And, you’re more likely to look forward to your trip when you’re not disenchanted with the planning process.

I’m also owner of Autism Friendly Vacations and work with families who have a child on the spectrum, to ensure all of their travel needs are met while on vacation. www.AutismVacation.com
