This Is Wisconsin’s Most Popular Halloween Candy
Trick-or-treaters in Wisconsin may be the happiest if you give them this candy on Halloween.
WISCONSIN -- October is synonymous with many things, including candy. If you didn’t get your Halloween candy on sale after last year’s festivities, now is the time to start stocking up for trick-or-treaters that will show up at your door on Oct. 31.
As for what type of candy you want to dole out, Arizona trick-or-treaters do appear to have a favorite.
CandyStore.com, a bulk candy delivering service, gathered 11 years of data to determine the three most popular Halloween candies in each state. The company says its results also depended on candy manufacturers and distributors to help verify its conclusions.

Butterfinger, which sold an incredible 118,984 pounds last year. In second place was Starburst, which sold 118,572 pounds in 2017. Wisconsin's third-most popular Halloween candy was Hot Tamales, which sold 37,588 pounds.
