Woman Killed Early Friday In Hit-And-Run
Police say the woman was in the roadway when she was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the striking vehicle then fled the scene.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A 36-year-old Milwaukee woman is dead and the vehicle that reportedly struck her fled the scene early Friday, police say.
Milwaukee Police responded to a fatal hit-and-run crash that happened around 1:05 a.m. on September 22 in the 2800 block of W. Lisbon Avenue.
Police say the woman was in the roadway when she was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the striking vehicle then fled the scene.

The victim died from her injuries and the Milwaukee Police Department is withholding her name from the public as they notify the family of this morning's tragic events.
The investigation is ongoing as they continue to seek the vehicle.
