Letter To The Editor

Dear Director and Members of the Library Board of Trustees,

This email / letter is written in reply to your response on October 30th, 2025 to my October17th, 2025 a “formal request for corrective action.”

Please respond to ALL points discussed in this letter / email. I will be publishing this letter and your response to the public.

The citizens of this community have a right to know why you took the “public comment” section of the monthly library Board of trustees meeting away ( Revoked Our Right To Free Speech ) since September of 2025. This action was put in place to shut the citizens of the community up and prevent them from speaking out against any pornographic or sexually perverse content in books allowed to occupy the shelves of the Hales Corners Public Library.

I am going to be quite frank and forthright with you. 1) You did not like the citizen speakers on August 28th, 2025 telling you of the harm that you are doing to the children of our communities because of these porn books which IS your responsibility by YOU allowing them to stay in this public library. My God ( which is your God also ) will judge YOU in this life or at your death concerning this abomination. One of the speakers quoted Matthew 18:6 “But whoso shall offend one of theses little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” We were told by Village President, Daniel Besson on September 25th, 2025 that the “public comment” section of the library Board of trustees meeting that evening was NOT being allowed because a citizen speaker threatened the lives of the library Board members at the last meeting. If this were true, then why was not this person arrested on the spot or even given a citation to appear in court? Because it was a fabricated LIE—so the library Board of trustees would have an excuse to now cancel “public comment “ for EVERY library Board of trustees meeting forthcoming. ( In other words REVOKE OUR RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH ) Since March of 2023 when I started this process to get 3 books reconsidered. At every library Board of trustees meeting I spoke at —-I quoted that exact same Bible passage. Why was I not arrested each time? Also this same citizen speaker quoted that exact same Bible passage to the Village Board of trustees at the November 3rd, 2025 meeting and she was not arrested then—why not? Because it is a fabricate LIE!! This Library Director and Board of trustees are trying to shut up the the people of this community!!!They don’t want to hear you speak against any of the porn or sexually perverse books that are on the shelves in the HALES CORNERS PUBLIC LIBRARY. Shame on them!
