Kali Bookey told her victim she was "a psychopath and that (the victim) was her first kill and she was probably going to kill again."

HUDSON, WI β After hearing an argument from the defense Friday, a St. Croix County judge kept the bond for 15-year-old Kali Bookey at $250,000 cash. Bookey has been accused of slitting the throat of her brother's girlfriend and is charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide.
According to a report from the Pierce County Herald, St. Croix County Circuit Judge Eric Lundell summed up his justification for the continued bail with a one sentence explanation: she told her victim she was βa psychopath and that (the victim) was her first kill and she was probably going to kill again.β
Defense Attorney John Kucinski argued for a lower bond, stating: βShe has no assets to go anywhere, anyway.. I donβt find any objective reason why she wouldnβt appear.β
