2012 North Hudson Pepper Fest Button Design Unveiled

Festival organizers unveiled the 2012 North Hudson Pepper Fest button design on Tuesday afternoon. This year's button was designed by Judy Shatek, who is a 1976 graduate of .

"I grew up in Hudson, where my mother Lois Isaacson still resides, and the Pepper Fest was always a must attend event," Shatek said. "I am currently working in computer tech support but was a graphic designer for many years and still call design work my primary passion. My inspiration for the design was just to reflect the fun aspect of the event."

This summer, North Hudson Pepper Fest is scheduled for Aug. 17-19. 

The next Pepper Fest Board meeting, which is open to the public, is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, at .
