36-Year-Old Minnesota Woman Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Crash

A 36-year-old Minnesota woman sustained life-threatening injuries after the motorcycle she was riding on crashed on a roundabout on Hwy. 8.

POLK COUNTY, WI β€” A 36-year-old Minnesota woman sustained life-threatening injuries after the motorcycle she was riding on crashed on a roundabout on Highway 8 in Polk County on Saturday night.

36-year-old Jennifer Bisel sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash.

According to police, on April 22, at 10:30 pm, cycle with two occupants was westbound on Highway 8 in Polk County, when the operator failed to negotiate the roundabout at the intersection of Highway 46 southbound.

According to police, the cycle ran through the grass in the center mound of the roundabout, lost control, and crashed on the back side of the center mound causing injuries to both the operator and the passenger.

The passenger, Jennifer Bisel, was airlifted and the operator was transported by ambulance to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

The operator of the cycle was arrested and charged with Operating Under the Influence 3rd offense.

Neither of the occupants are believed to have been wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

According to police, 36-year-old Nathan Bisel of Center City Minnesota sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash.
