Whenever you adopt any animal from a program or a shelter, you'll always pay an adoption fee. An adoption fee covers the cost of your pet before you adopt him or her. Usually, adoption fees and donations are the only sort of payment a shelter will get. How much the animal you get is, depends on the condition of the animal when they arrive. if he/she is in a bad condition, most likely the shelter will raise the price as a result of the medical cost needed to heal the animal. :)
