• Which Denny's Locations Closed? Five Midwest Diners Shut as Franchisee Plans Bankruptcy (ts2.tech) — Hudson residents just lost their Denny's at 1000 Gateway Boulevard after the franchisee abruptly shut five Midwest locations and signaled plans for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The company says it hopes to find new operators, but there's no guarantee or timeline yet for reopening the Hudson site or any of the other closed diners.
   

• Minot State golf teams tee off long season in Wisconsin on Monday (msubeavers.com) — Hudson's Troy Burne Golf Club will host the Minot State men's and women's golf teams Monday and Tuesday as they open a long season against regional college competition. The Beavers bring a mix of returning standouts and new transfers, using the Hudson tournament as an early test before chasing conference success later in Missouri and at their own home event.
