• Request for Proposal (northhudsonwi.gov) — Contractors and interested residents should know that the Village of North Hudson is seeking bids to build two new parking lots, with sealed proposals due at Village Hall by late morning on October 9. Full bid specs are available online or at the Hudson address for Village Hall, and village officials reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
   

• Feds charge Colombian woman with noncitizen voting in Hudson (greenbaypressgazette.com) — Hudson residents are learning that a local Colombian woman has been federally indicted on charges of falsely claiming U.S. citizenship to register and vote in the 2022 midterm election. Prosecutors say the case is part of a broader federal investigation into rare instances of noncitizen voting in Wisconsin and other states, with a Beloit man also recently charged.
