• First Catholic high school to open in Diocese of Superior in 57 years (superiorcatholicherald.org) — Families in Hudson will soon have a new local Catholic high school option, with Solanus Catholic High School set to open in fall 2027 initially at St. Patrick Catholic School in town. The Diocese of Superior is hiring a principal, planning a founders event, and inviting interested Hudson-area families to submit inquiry forms and support the project as it grows grade-by-grade.
   

• Jerry Craven 09/23/2026 (bakken-young.com) — Hudson residents are mourning the passing of 67-year-old Jerry Craven, a longtime community member who died peacefully at home on September 23. His family invites friends and neighbors to a Celebration of Life on Sunday, October 4, at Badlands Golf Course in Roberts, and suggests memorials to the PBCers Organization in honor of his battle with a rare liver disease.
