Our Snowshoeing days here at Willow River State Park have been going fantastic and we are filling up every class we do. People are getting excited to try out that pair of snowshoes that have been collecting dust in the closet, recently received for Christmas, or using one of our pairs to get a feel of how they can embrace the winter and enjoy the outdoors.
Back by popular demand we will be holding one last snowshoe instruction day here at the park on Saturday March 1 from 1-3 p.m. If you need to reserve a pair of snowshoes please contact the Nature Center at Willowrivernaturecenter@gmail.com or 715-386-9340. Please try and reserve your pair at least 1 week in advance as we have limited pairs to reserve.
This event is free to attend, vehicle admission into the park is required. We have a short instruction/hike with questions and then we will let you go off on the trails on your own. Come back to warm up with some hot drinks.
