Join St. Croix Animal Friends for the 6th Annual Raise the "Woof" Animal Walk

Come and join us at the St. Croix Animal Friends 6th Annual Raise the "Woof" Animal Walk on Saturday, June 16 at Lakefront Park, Hudson, WI. This is our biggest fund raiser of the year in our mission to build a Human Society Adoption and Education Center in St. Croix Valley.   We need your help in raising funds to literally raise the "roof" on a building for the SCAF Humane Shelter on the recently purchased land in Roberts.The event is full of fun for us and our pets.  We can wag our "tails" to great live music by the Bulldogs and The Two Man Band from 11 - 2 pm.  Food and Beverages will be provided by Urban Olive and Vine.  There will be ice cream provided by Cedar Crest Ice Cream and cookies by Best Made Cookies too!  And, vendors will provide some incredible products for pets.Come and watch the Disc Dog Demo.  See dogs and their human disc throwers show off their amazing talents in freestyle catching.  You will be all smiles while you enjoy your dog having lots of fun and exercise participating in games such as the Hot Dog Race, Bobbin for Balls, Potato Spoon Race, and Biscuit Hunt.You can root for your dogs as they compete in the Largest Dog, Smallest Dog and Smartest Dog contests.  You will beam with pride as they are awarded their prizes.At the walk, you can take advantage of the opportunity to get your dog or cat safely home again with micro-chipping.  Certified vet techs will be administering the micro-chip to your pet and will get your pet micro-chip activated and registered.  To help cover the costs, a donation of $10 would be greatly appreciated.We thank the individuals who have diligently collected the most pledges for the walk with fabulous prizes.  The prizes are a Nintendo DS for children ages 13 and under; Ipod for ages 14-17; A Laptop will be awarded to our grand prize winner and an eReader to the runner up.We are still accepting sponsors for the walk. There are sponsorship levels and benefits for all budgets:  Platinum Paw - $200+; Gold Paw - $100 - 199; Silver Paw- Up to $99. In addition to financial sponsorship, we welcome companies that can offer in-kind donations such as printing, tables, tents, chairs, bottled beverages, snacks, advertising and other services.  For more information regarding the benefits that sponsors receive, please visit our website at www.stcroixanimalfriends.org.We look forward to seeing you, your family and your furry friend at the walk!
