Harsdorf Statement on Oak Park Heights Approval of Highway 36 Plan
Another hurdle to construction of the new St. Croix River Crossing was cleared last night with a 4-1 vote by the Oak Park Heights City Council to approve the Minnesota Highway 36 plan.
The St. Croix River Crossing has taken another step forward with Oak Park Heights City Council accepting a Minnesota state plan to rebuild the Highway 36 corridor. I commend the City Council members who voted for this measure and applaud their commitment to this project. I am pleased that another hurdle to construction on this vital transportation link has been cleared.
