Hudson Boosters to Add Tackle Football for Third- and Fourth-graders

Players will be coached in a group manner for the first half of the season, rotating to different stations in small groups where they will participate in various drills.

The goal of the program is to provide tackle football to the third- and fourth-grade kids using a group coaching format to create an atmosphere where every player has equal opportunities to learn proper techniques and become a good, safe football player. We strive to provide the best experience for all players, coaches, and parents.

Players will be coached in a group manner for the first half of the season, rotating to different stations in small groups where they will participate in various drills. This best leverages the expertise and experience of all available coaches to expose each player to the most well rounded coaching possible. In addition to stations, players will be divided up into teams and taught player positions and plays in a scrimmage type atmosphere.

The cost of the program is $95 and all equipment will be provided by the Hudson Boosters with the exception of cleats, which are NOT mandatory for play but are recommended.
