Raiders Lacrosse still Undefeated Beating St. Louis Park

Hudson varsity lacrosse continued their undefeated season with a victory over St. Louis Park at River Crest Wednesday. Six different Raiders contributed goals in the 9 to 3 win.

Hudson varsity lacrosse continued their undefeated season with a victory over St. Louis Park at River Crest Wednesday.  Six different Raiders contributed goals in the 9 to 3 win.

Matt Weseli scored the first goal off an assist from Brandon Schwartz, who then scored a goal of his own.  St. Louis Park’s Carlos Siguenza scored to pull within one goal. Henrik Wiesemeyer and Taren Motte scored at the end of the first quarter to start out a run of 7 unanswered goals for Hudson.

Brandon Schwartz scored the only goal of the second quarter to end the half with Hudson up 5 to 1.  After halftime, Adam Lipps scored with an assist from Joey Hernandez.  Carter Schuett and Wiesemeyer got goals to make the score 8 to 1 after 3 quarters.

In the fourth, Schwartz scored Hudson’s final goal, pulling ahead 9 to 1.  Saint Louis Park’s Siguenza and Matt Harkema each scored at the end, but it was too little, too late for the Orioles.  Hudson won 9 to 3.

Hudson has 6 wins and 0 losses on the season and is ranked number 1 in the Minnesota Boys Scholastic Lacrosse Association’s East region.
