Rents continue upward trend as vacancy rate continues to fall!

The strong performance of the rental market continued in the second quarter of 2012 as national vacancies fell by another 20 basis points to 4.7%. For two consecutive quarters the national vacancy rate has been continuing below the benchmark 5% level used by landlords for rent increases when the market tightens.

It is an expensive time to be renter, but a great time to rent out property!
