The Crash Course

Chris Martenson is an unlikely profile for an economist, and he does not contend to be one.  "First of all, I am not an economist. I am trained as a scientist, having completed both a PhD and a post-doctoral program at Duke University, where I specialized in neurotoxicology. I tell you this because my extensive training as a scientist informs and guides how I think. I gather data, I develop hypotheses, and I continually seek to accept or reject my hypotheses based on the evidence at hand. I let the data tell me the story."  Through this lens Chris will walk you through the basic economic concepts and discuss how they relate to our nations current challenges with both resources and demographics.

My hope is that you will watch the first 5 videos which will take 14 minutes total.  If Chris hasn't captured your attention then I thank you for your time.
