St Croix Animal Friends have partnered with Nordic-Kin All Breed Training to offer the dog lovers of our community an opportunity to build effective communication with their animals. Trainer Anthony Church (Nordic-Kin@outlook.com) will lay the foundational material with a presentation while SCAF volunteers walk your dog on the grounds of E.P. Rock (all dogs must be leashed). Then, the dogs will be returned to the gymnasium so participants can practice the training techniques they just learned as Anthony and co-workers make their rounds performing one-on-one training attention. Although this session is free and open to the public, your donation is greatly appreciated to cover the cost of this event. For more information or to register, please contact Kara at fitzp174@umn.edu or at (812) 322-3915.
