Family and friends of Pete Huseboe are hosting the 5th annual "For Pete's Sake" 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, September 17th. Pete was long-time member of the Hudson community, and father of five Hudson Hockey players. He died unexpectedly in 2007 after complications from surgery for a rare brain tumor, and this race commemorates his love for family activities and being outdoors. This family event welcomes all ages to run, walk, or stroll the beautiful St. Croix river bluff course.
The race begins at 9AM at the , with registration beginning at 7:45. Registration fee is $20, with family fee of $40 (up to 4 maximum). Awards will be presented to top category finishers, and all participants will receive a t-shirt and be eligible for prize drawings.
This year's race is sponsored by , , and Keller-Williams Reality: Ferguson/Howard Group. Proceeds from the race will be donated to a local family in need.
