
Hudson High School Chamber Choir & Exultate Present their Spring Concert
My Spirit Sings!
The Hudson High School Choral Department presents: My Spirit Sings! on Saturday, April 28th at 7:30p.m. in the Hudson High School Performing Arts Auditorium. This concert features the 82 voice Chamber Choir, Hudson High School’s premier choir and Exultate, a small Chamber ensemble, all under the direction of Andrew Haase, HHS Director of Choral Activities.

The choirs will present a variety of choral literature, including: “My Spirit Sang All Day” by Gerald Finzi, “At the Earths Imagined Corners” by Williametta Spencer and “O Day Full of Grace” by F.M Christiansen. The choir will also present a performance of “Dear Sarah” a letter written by Major Sullivan Ballou who writes to his wife Sarah in the spring of 1861. The letter is written as Major Ballou awaits orders to leave for the Battle of Bull Run during the Civil War.
