A ceremony for Officer Clarence J, Erickson Jr. will be held to honor and award him with a Medal of Valor. Officer Erickson died on June 14, 1953 in the line of duty while apprehending a fleeing felon.
Accepting the award on Erickson's behalf, is his only child and three grandchildren.
