Ornamental Grasses Program

Friends of the Hudson Library is sponsoring a presentation at 10:30 AM on Saturday, February  18th, by Steve Horan, whose garden has been featured on national, regional, and local garden tours.  Horan's topic is “Ornamental Grasses in the Home Landscape."  Ornamental grasses are increasingly popular.  They offer texture, color, movement, easy maintenance, and three seasons of interest – summer, fall, winter.  Horan will show pictures from his own backyard illustrating how ornamental grasses can be used as individual specimens, in mass plantings, or as border plants.  The presentation will be at the , 700 First Street (corner of First and Vine).  Admission is free, but seating is limited to 50 so pre-registration is suggested.  To pre-register, call the Library at 715-386-3101 or stop at the Library’s circulation desk.
