There will be a program on honeybees at the Hudson Area Library on Tuesday, May 29th @ 7:00 PM. The program will be presented by Mike Leahy, a beekeeper and member of the St. Croix Valley Beekeepers Association. Leahy will present information about what honeybees do, what beekeepers do to help them along, and explain some of the challenges honeybees are facing. He will have a hive box and some equipment, along with an observation hive with bees. The program is sponsored by the Sierra Club, and they are opening it to interested community members. This program is free, but seating is limited. To pre-register, stop at the Library's circulation desk or call 715-386-3101.
