Bjorn Nesvold, FIC, Financial Consultant with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans in Hudson, WI, will host an informational workshop on “Your Retirement: Optimize it. Protect it. Enjoy it.” The 60-minute workshop will take place at 6:00 pm, on Thursday, March 29, at the Hudson Golf Club.
“Making retirement plans can be a daunting task for many people,” Nesvold said. “It is critical to begin planning for and understanding retirement options ahead of time. This workshop can help people anywhere from five to 10 years from retirement or five to 10 years into retirement. It’s never too early.”
During the workshop, Nesvold will introduce the Thrivent Retirement Income Optimizer® (TRIO®) strategy. Using this strategy can help individuals learn if they will meet their income goal this year and throughout their retirement years. The workshop will also address the common retirement income challenges, such as outliving one’s savings, inflation risk, market volatility and unexpected life events.

The TRIO strategy is based on three guidelines:
- Diversify retirement assets for both growth and income liquidity.
- Build up sources of dependable, guaranteed income.*
- Balance current spending with future income needs.
The strategy works with all assets and income, regardless of where those assets are held. It does not require that any assets be held with or transferred to Thrivent Financial.
